RARE 00s Vintage Miffy Japan Zipper Tote / Book Bag / Purse Official Mercis B.V.

Photos show the exact Miffy-themed tote bag you will receive. I got it in the mid 2000s from Japanese dpartment store Shirokiya and it’s an official licensed bag by Mercis B.V., the company that manages the rights to Dick Bruna's creations, including Miffy.

I’ve tried to photograph all signs of age / wear, most notably at the edges of the straps and tops of pockets, and rust on the shoulder strap buckle.

It is 10.5” wide, 13” tall, and 4” deep.

It features Miffy the rabbit riding on the back of a turtle, with a sun, clouds, and flowers in the background. It has blue handles and an adjustable shoulder strap, with a small turtle emblem at the bottom. The bag's main body is a light gray with a subtle dotted pattern, a zip up top and 2 exterior slip pockets, and it’s lined with navy blue satin with 2 interior slip pockets.
