A very rare 1.49 ct Unheated Untreated Oval Cut Diaspore.
This is the only gemstone in the world that loses 90% or more of the rough gem material, in this case Diaspore, from which it was cut from making each gemstone extremely rare and quite valuable. Gem quality stones come exclusively from the Atlas Mountains of Turkey. This stone has a kiwi green color and is SI1 grade. It has a stunning luster and a subtle color change for the species changing under candle light or incandescent then changing colors under LED lights.
