Maker: This imposing and exceptionally large contemporary crystal wine goblet is by England's iconic producer Royal Doulton Crystal. At the center of the base is the company's etched lion's head mark.
Design and size: Beyond its wonderful clarity and striking pattern of etched dots and graceful lines, the stylish glass stands out by virtue of its size and weight: the glass is an impressive 11 1/4 inches tall and weighs just over 1 pound. The solid heavy plain foot provides stability.
With a generous bowl and long, slim stem, it feels substantial in the hand and was clearly designed to impress. It would make a powerful impact on any table.
