This listing is for a yardage of fantastic vintage fabric with a retro paisley/medallion/floral motif. Love this pattern and the sophisticated olive/pea green, yellow and lilac color palette as well!
The entire piece of this fabric measures 90 x 36”. The material is lightweight, high quality and it feels like silk. I did a burn test on some of the loose threads. The fiber caught on fire, but flame did not progress very far, the fiber itself did not ball up like the synthetics would do, and did not produce an acrid smell. Thus, I am inclined to think it might be silk, but I can’t verify the fiber content with any great certainty. The fabric is in nice vintage condition with no serious issues to mention. I would date it back to the 1960s.
