This is an older Johnson Brothers, England Friendly Village Ice House patterned ironstone cup and saucer by made in the 1953-1960s.
The saucer has a great hand colored on brown transferware design of a red ice house by the stream in the snow. Because it is hand colored on transfer, no two are ever exactly alike.
EACH saucer is 5.75 inches in diameter.
The perennial favorite Friendly Village cup and saucer is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. The last three pictures show some minor discolorations and crazing. This is only on the back and doesn’t effect the saucer. Please ask about extra pictures or questions.
