Handpainted Cookie Jar, Grapes And Pink Hair, Artist Valri Peyser 2007

This is a really fun handpainted glass jar. Painted in 2007 by artist Valri Peyser. She would come in to get wire on her canvases that were usually bright alien like colored figures painted on gallery stretched canvases. I really enjoyed her work. She is a nice and talented woman who lived Santa Cruz County. The jar is made of clear glass and painted in enamel. It measures 10.5 wide x 13.5 tall with lid. Painted in a purple with Grapes and leaves on the lid and most of the jar. The other side of the jar features a wonderful pink haired woman. I was excited to find this jar at the Santa Cruz flea market. It's time to let it have a life elsewhere. It is a perfect cookie jar.  Condition is very good.  No notable damages. Wipe down with a damp cloth. You can handwash the inside. I just would not suggest scrubbing the painted surface. And hand dry.
