Very unique butterfly brooch. Signed and stamped Mexico TG-189 and 925.
Made by Guerrero Guadarrama to symbolize the monarch butterflies that come to Mexico every year.
This is a wonderful piece that was built to show a what it looks like when a Monarch lands on you during this time of year. It sits at a lovely angle so that the wings are highlights with the wonderful stretched sterling wire.
Approximately 2 1/4” wide by 1 1/2” wide. Weighs 14.1 grams.
Item came from a local vintage estate sale as do many of my vintage items. Unfortunately due to the uniqueness of these items they are not able to be reproduced for multiple orders. This is a vintage item which means that there may be some flaws with age. I try and point these out as I find them but each item may not be perfect.
