Signed first edition (print number not stated) oversized hardcover copy of Duck Calls of Illinois 1863-1963 by Robert D. Christensen (Norther Illinois University Press, 1994). Signed and inscribed by author on half title page. Hard to find book showcasing the rich history of duck hunting and the variety duck calls produced in the area over the course of a century. Profusely illustrated and with photographs. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with rubbing/scuffing to faces (especially back cover) and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Most notable creasing and tears to bottom edge of jacket spine which has a small bit of tape on reverse side. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
