A REAL authentic antique locket! Perfect gift for Mothers Day! This is a larger locket and substantial weight.
Beautiful vintage gold filled heart shaped locket from the made by the JMF Jewelry Company. It features etched designs of two flowers - one on each lobe of the heart, and some curvy flowing leaves above them. The bottom of the heart has a wonderful textured fill area in a diamond shape. The front is framed with an outline. The back side of this locket is plain with no design. Get ot engraved! The locket, which is a larger sized pendant, opens from the left and has a hinge on the right, opens and closes easily.This locket is hallmarked on the back. Approx production year 1930s-40s.
The JMF Jewelry Company was founded by John M. Fisher and Charles R. Harris in 1879. Originally known as Harris and Fisher, in 1885 the company became the JM Fisher Company, hence the JMF. The company operated until 1949.
