Antique Victorian Watch Fob Carnelian Intaglio Charm Pendent 1800's BeadRage
I would say mid 1800's. I've had this one longer than I can remember. I always wore it on a gold chain but have reattached it to the original watch chain to sell. The intaglio is carved Carnelian in nature with the soldier type face. The fob is rolled gold with wear to the backside only. It measures 1 x 1 The original chain is ? brass? Not sure because I've never made any attempt to clean it. The catch is in good working order and stamped the DFLD Co. Best I can make out. The larger spring ring is not in working order. I can include a newer spring ring of equal size however it will be brand new gold plated. On the stone there is the usual wear - very faint scratches relevant to a piece of this age. Only one I have of course. I've enjoyed this piece for many a year and hope you will too. Please see all pictures.
