This vintage Murray Meter Equipment made by Metropolitan Device Corporation in Brooklyn, NY. Catalog Number 958. 60 Amps and 125 - 250 volts. Typical wiring diagrams of single-phase meter connection boxes. It contains no fuses. The box color is black and there is some of the finish has faded by age.
This vintage meter equipment box measures 8 h x 8-1/4 w x 4 d. It has a latch for the lock to keep it secure. It was used by my great-grandfather when he did the electrical job in Reese, MI during early the 1950s(?). It is in good vintage condition. Don’t know if it is still functional. SOLD AS-IS.
