Ram Marking Crayons are an essential management tool at breeding time. The colored crayons can be used in several ways to indicate the status and fertility of your flock.

Hot= Over 85 Degrees Fahrenheit
Mild= 65-85 Degrees Fahrenheit
Cold= Below 65 Degrees Fahrenheit
Use crayons to indicate parentage:
Allocating a marker crayon color to each ram working in a field shows which rams are working and which ewes he has served. If a ram has not marked any ewes this could indicate potential fertility problems.
Use crayons to forecast lambing dates:
By using crayon colours in sequence, it is possible to identify when ewes will lamb and group them in accordance.
