Vintage Large Brass Seahorse Hippocamus Venetian Gondola Oar Lock. Heavy - close to 6lbs. Gondola ornament. Oval base. Detailed, bridled seahorse with chain accent. Bridle swivels. Large size at 11 1/2 high x 13 across x 2 5/8 wide at the base. Seahorse statue itself is quite narrow, but solid. Base is hollow. Has a sticker on the inside Woodward & Lothrop Import DISPLAY PR #3 #124. Very good vintage condition. Shows wear due to age, scuffs, scratches, divots and dings. Has some tarnish and could use an overall polish.
