Featured is a wonderfully iridescent Fenton Alley Cat.
This Amethyst Carnival Glass beauty measures about 11 inches high and is HEAVY!
The mold originated with US Glass/Tiffin in the 1920's and Fenton acquired it in the mid-60's.
Fenton introduced them in 1970 and has made them in a wide variety of colors and decorations over the years.
There are some neat pictures of the Tiffin originals in Pina/Gallagher's book on Tiffin Glass (pg 87-88).
It is in excellent condition, free from any chips or cracks.
