CREATING PROCESS
Handmade and created from a real leaf that I have found outside or from one of my plants. Each leaf goes through the process drying, sealed with a clear coat, covered with conductive paint, and then electroformed; which is the process of copper plating organic or non metal material.
Each leaf can take anywhere from 8-24 hours or more to electroform.
Once plated I'll refine the piece, giving it a nice finished look and may add a patina. I then cover the copper with clear enamel paint to stop further oxidation which also protects the patina.
