Antique sterling ring set with a mother of pearl blister pearl nestled in an abalone shell. The former owner died in 1972 a few years shy of her one hundredth birthday. The ring measures a size 4 and is stamped sterling on the back (I had a heard time getting a picture).
Approximate Measurements: 34 mm long on the top, 23 mm from top of the stone to bottom of the band, 18 mm width of band, 8 mm from bottom of the setting to top of the pearl and 29 mm long bezel setting. The shoulder motifs are in relief with flowing vines and leaves normally indicative of the Art Nouveau period.
Condition: The silver darkened over the years, but that's too is indicative of age. I will leave it up to the buyer to clean and polish off all that wonderful patina.
