We've been making these great feeders for 40 years, and our hummingbird feeders have stood the test of time. The HB-1 works better than any other feeder because we use a clear upward sweeping feeding tube that allows hummingbirds to visually locate nectar like a flower. The unique design of our Peter Feeder HB-1 allows you to observe hummingbirds using the beak and tongue inside the tube, so you can actually see the feeding process. Did you know that a hummingbird's tongue can stick out almost an inch out of its beak?
The one-piece design makes this feeder very easy to fill and clean. By using a small feeding tube, we are able to prevent bees from taking over the feeder, which is better for your hummingbirds.
We designed this feeder to hold 8 ounces of nectar (sugar water). Peter's Feeders Hummingbird Feeders are handcrafted in Wisconsin from impact-resistant plastic.
