This fraternal organization supports charitable and social activities. Its rituals and lessons are based on the story of best friends, Damon and Pythias, in Greek mythology. The book is filled with photos and interesting information on the various lodges. There are some old advertisements in the back. A separate letter from Frank Dowd encouraging the purchase of this book is included. The front cover is just starting to separate but is still intact. There is minor wear/scuffing on the outside cover and the pages have yellowed slightly. There is writing in pencil on the inside cover page. Otherwise this book is in good used vintage condition.
