Vintage 50s Georgie Of Arizona Patio Dress Womens L Red Southwestern
Often referred to in the 40s and 50s as Squaw dresses, as the inspiration came from fashion worn by the Native American women in the Southwest.
Georgie of Arizona (Tuscon based), was a popular clothing designer to embrace this style during the 1950s.
Fabric content is Cotton or Muslin
Side Zipper (it is red, and vintage, but it may have been replaced at some point, I do think it should be a silver metal zipper in this era)
No rips, tears or staining, but it could use a good soak and wash by hand.
It is a bit musty and dusty from storage.
This dress is quite voluminous and would look great with or without an underskirt.
Pair with some beautiful turquoise jewelry and some strappy sandals.
