This pin is part of a series of pins released for Mickey's Star Spangled Pin Event at Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World on June 29th, 2002. This two pin set features a Musical Mickey pin and a Light Up Minnie Pin, each one half of what when put together represents the shape of the United States of America as the American Flag. The ribbon at the bottom of the pins read The land of the free and the home of the brave. Limited edition 1500. Disney Artist: Monty Maldovan
Note: this set has been stored and never displayed so the sticky tape and protective strip are still on. However, due to the age of the pin, the batteries in both pieces have died and would need to be replaced.
