I paid 1,900 for this and mercari takes a bunch of fees soi can't take a loss on it. Firm on price and I'll explain..
Not even the library of congress have this photograph..they have the negative but not the original. This is a original card/photo so its more like a postcard size card than a photograph. But because it's the only example like it , it's more like an amazing conversation piece. I love this photograph because it shows a young Ruth with the Redsox. It was taken in his early years as a Boston player. Photo like this go upwards of 50,000 inmost auctions. It's 100% authentic and not a reproduction of any kind. It's thickcard stock ..almost like a notebook cover. This is a very rare photograph/card.
