Gambiered Canton Gauze has a history of more than 1000 years. It is a kind of silk product made by coating mulberry silk fabric with the juice of Dioscorea cirrhosa Lour then covering them with the mud of river surges containing minerals, and processing them under the sun.
It is an ancient handmade plant-dyed fabric, and is also a national intangible cultural heritage, known as soft gold as well. Unique production techniques and scarce quantity, the fabric is cool and pleasant, easy to wash and fast drying, deep color and dirt-resistant, not staining the skin.
