We recently discovered a pallet of one hundred 1990s Howe 17 aluminum steering wheels still new in the boxes. These giant wheels were popular for decades until power steering made them obsolete. Modern race cars depend on power steering because of high amounts of caster and tiny steering wheels, making them very difficult to move without the engine running. So our guys in the shop love these big wheels for moving and loading cars like it is a new invention.
