Fantastic vintage 1970's maxi skirt by Greencastle - a real eye-popping beauty with neon colors of fuchsia, tangerine, emerald, cobalt, red, & gold on a bright white background. The pattern is of giant psychedelic butterflies with flowers & the fabric is 100% textured acrylic crepe sometimes called bark cloth (although it isn't) and was commonly used in colorful Hawaiian clothing in the 1960's and 1970's. Good vintage condition; the skirt has been worn & there are a few pulls, some pilling & storage wrinkles. Nothing that detracts from the spot-you-from-across-the-block pattern!
