Truly one of a kind, fully natural, exquisite Brazilian rarity! This raw lustrous (and highly fluorescent under UV) specimen features a huge, icy pale ivory calcite block that’s naturally cleaved, terminated and full or iridescent rainbows in the light. The gemmy calcite is covered in a generation of glassy amethyst crystals that wrap around the calcite, leaving only the backside and ends of the calcite block exposed. The quartz var. amethyst crystals are extra sparkly, have beautiful purple phantoms that ombré to a lavender hue and also show rainbows in light! This combination is impossible to find and often in the 5 digits when it is! A collector’s dream! Large sized decor display specimen at about 4 x 4 x 3 inches and weighing just over 1 pound.
