A photo book by David Hockney titled Cameraworks. A single photograph can easily lie. The visual nature of photography is confined to a frame, while painting offers a vision that expands in all directions. That's why I find painting more interesting, says Hockney. Since the 1960s, Hockney had been taking photographs of friends and snapshots, but he wasn't particularly interested in photography itself; it was merely a means of recording ideas. However, after the Pompidou Center in Paris expressed interest in his photographs, Hockney dedicated himself to photography for two years starting in 1981, setting aside the paintbrush. This book is a collection of works created under the cubist idea that while a single photograph can't capture all that a person saw at a moment in time, combining multiple photographs can express that person's visual experience and time more accurately. It explores the multifaceted and layered nature of humanity and art, paving the way for a new realm in photographic art.

There are signs of wear such as fading, stains, and damage, as well as some loosening of the binding. Please bid only if you can assess the condition from the photos.
