First edition, fifth printing hardcover copy of Thinner by Richard Bachman aka Stephen King (New American Library, 1984). Thriller / horror / suspense novel written by King under a different pseudonym. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some mild rubbing to faces and wear around the edges - including some chipping, creases and small tears, especially to corners. Small liquid stain to bottom edge of front liner flap. Boards mildly soiled from handling and use with corners bumped. Binding is firm though spine is a bit cocked. Very faint discoloration/foxing to endpapers and to outer edge of text block. Otherwise, all pages are clean and unmarked though faintly tanned. See photos for condition.
