This medal is from the Italian Army's Bersaglieri Infantry Corps. It is dated 1976.
It is bronze and quite large ( 2 circumference). It's in great shape for being 47 years old.
There is a small chip of the upper left border. I tried to show that in the photo. The chip is less noticeable in real life than the photo.
This was also a gift from my uncle when I visited Italy. It has a dedication on the back as to when it was given.
