This antique Japanese Nishi geisha girl doll is really special! The doll is approximately 17” tall (not including the 1” tall wooden stand that it sits upon), and approximately 7” wide from B of her hands to the other. She is made entirely of fabric, with the exception of her hair and headdress........ Her dress appears to be constructed of a red, black and gold patterned silk. From what I have read, these dolls were made around the beginning of the 1900’s..... Considering its age, I would say that this doll is in very excellent vintage condition. She does not appear to have any missing or loose pieces, her outfit is in great shape, etc.
