Set of 4 rare antique Spode England FELSPAR Porcelain plates. The Spode Felspar mark was used 1822-1833.
The plates are white with a yellow rim. The rim is decorated with alternating birds and flowers. The plates are also decorated with ornate gold gilding and an unusual scalloped rim. The plates measure 9 in diameter. They are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks, There is some gold loss and fading due to use & age.
I have 8 of these plates, but due to the weight of these plates (each one weighs 1 pound) I am dividing these into two separate listings and they will have two different shipping labels. I will give a discount if you want both sets, but I cannot combine shipping because of the weight and danger of breaking with that much weight in one box. They will be very well pocked to protect these gorgeous plates. I pack fragile items in double or heavy duty boxes and lots of bubble wrap. This sometimes increases shipping fees but I want your item to arrive safely.
