Adorable 1940s made in occupied Japan colonial couple dancing figurines. This is a nice example of MIOJ porcelain. Many of the pieces with their arms and other pieces out have been broken so they are more rare, especially as a matching couple. He is really hamming it up and she is encouraging him along and clapping they are dressed in their finest clothes and pieces have gold gilt details. The faces are painted well. Nice addition to occupied Japan collection.
Would make a nice Valentine's Day gift or romantic partner gift, would even work for an unexpected wedding cake topper, housewarming gift, Victorian style home or Edwardian style home, anniversary gift, etc.
Size: (each) 5.25 x 2 x 1.75
Condition: very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Nicely painted. Good examples of mioj porcelain.
