The 2018-19 Chanel Cruise Collection was presented at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The venue recreated a cruise ship terminal, featuring the passenger ship La Pausa . Models wearing berets appeared on the runway in dazzling colors of Chanel's marine look bathed in sunshine, enveloping the entire venue in a bright and refreshing mood, as if enjoying a cruise.
⚫︎La Pausa is the name of a villa built on land purchased by Mademoiselle Chanel on September 30, 1928. It was named after the legend that Mary Magdalene, who had traveled from Jerusalem, paused at a place of worship that once stood on this site. This place is one of Chanel's irreplaceable historical legacies.
