I replaced the batteries with new ones and checked, but it didn't light up at first. However, when I replaced the batteries again with the same ones, it lit up. So, the battery connection might be a little loose.
Therefore, I have listed it as slightly damaged or dirty.
However, I have confirmed that it lights up properly. (See photos 5 and beyond)
