A rare and unique WWII-era postcard, posted in 1937 from a daughter to her father, Karl T. Marx, residing in New York, USA. The postmark bears the distinctive design of the 1936 Winter Olympics, adding to its historical significance. The reverse side features a high-quality picture of The Alpspitze, a majestic mountain in Bavaria, Germany, known for its pyramidal peak and symbolic importance to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Published and photographed by Hans Huber.

Condition:
While showing some wear and small tearing along the edges, typical of vintage postcards, this piece remains a remarkable piece of history. Subtle creases are present, and the reverse side may exhibit signs of yellowing and yellow spots. Overall, it is in fine vintage condition, with the stamp securely attached.
