These do work! There is a squeaky noise imitating from the left ear at random for a few seconds at a time. Not sure what causes it; regardless in high or low volume. From some reports, it may be caused when there's no ear foam protecting the speaker, the pressure pressed from the ear will cause the squeal but not all ways.
Other than the wear, tear, and scratches, these are great backup headphones, hold moderate charge, will need ear foams, or they're perfect for parts and repair.
These have been cleaned and sanitized.
