I'm not qualified to date this, and there's no identifying signature or label.
The original Aztec Sunstone is 24 tons and large enough that they would lay human bodies for blood sacrifice on it....so this is definitely a reproduction. I just have no idea if it's 10 or 75 years old. It's definitely not of the 21st century.
I'm posting this at a high rate, but I'm truly open to any offers.
Especially if you plan to hang this in your home rather than resell it, I'm willing to reduce the price greatly to get it to a good home. It's a strikingly detailed and beautiful piece.
I wish we still made original works as detailed as this.
This is not a plaster model, I don't know what type of ceramic it is, but it's harder and heavier than any ceramics I'm used to.
Handmade.
