Brand new in box. Originally cost 79.74+tax, I paid 59+tax on clearance. Selling for 45 no tax. I bought it a while ago and never in installed it. My vehicle already has 2 of the 3 features so I don’t see a point in using it.
Basically what it does is the camera detects the lines on the road and lets you know if you are departing your lane (Lane Departure Warning) which is good if you start to drift into another lane for whatever reason.
It also detects something ahead of you that you may run into (Forward Collision Warning).
And lastly, it will start to record if you are parked and something bumps your car. I don’t know how “hard” the car needs to be bumped, but could provide valuable video footage if there is a hit and run or something similar.
I’ve never used this so I don’t know the sensitivity of the features. As always, the driver must be alert at all times. Do not rely on this device to prevent accidents!
