I broke my wrist and used it before and after surgery. You can adjust the support to rigid to flexible and it goes either to the right or left arm.
The support and comfort is amazing.
I am a fitness trainer and it really helped adjusting to my job!
I know people used it for motorcycle and sport but personally it was for everyday life/sport.
