This listing is for a stunning mid century lidded casserole dish (“Lotte”, 12001) by Turi Design of Norway. Love, love, love the simplicity of the form and intricacy of the silk-screened line drawing design featuring a finely dressed courting couple surrounded by meandering vegetation and beautiful birds. The lid is adorned by a number of symmetrically spaced flowers. The color palette of blue, violet and olive/lentil green on white background is quite unique as well. It appears that this dish is made of porcelain, as the exposed clay body is fine and very white. The dish measures approximately 3 3/4” in height (without the lid) and 7 1/8” in diameter. It has no structural issues and shows very little surface wear/discoloration.
