This piece has a great design and opens for 2 pictures. It was probably originally on a watch chain but can be used for so many things. A charm on a bracelet or on a neck chain. Measures about 1 1/4” tall by 1” wide. The design is very pretty and I think add to the antiquity. Opens and closes well and in good condition. Great to add to your collection.
That all said - I have seen not this exact woman design but the exact fob frame. I've seen it listed as 14kt gold. There is no mark that I can make out that states 14kt. There is however 2 different spots - one on each of the 2 inside frames. I've looked at it with a loop and (several actually) the best I can make out is CRL & Co. I might have the letters wrong. A magnet doesn't stick to this piece. Perhaps this one is rolled gold. Not sure - don't buy this piece because you think it is gold. I've tried to offer this piece to likers but Mercari doesn't like my offer so if your interested make me an offer
