Fraser the bear is one of the original 12 attic treasures. It has printed in Korea on the swing tag, and the artists signature can be seen on the tag as well. The swing tag does have a non removable sticker attached. Collectors item!
The story told is Ruth Fraser and her daughter Nola Hart owned The Teddy Bear Garden , a gift shop filled with various artist teddy bears located in Canada. As they also carried Ty product, Ty Warner came for a visit. Ruth Fraser recalls he came in and observed many of the designs in the shop, just as if he were any casual customer. He then presented her with Carlin and asked to buy her design and all rights. It was this moment Attic treasures were created, and with a few edits, Carlin became Fraser , named after
