This set of two original Japanese woodblock prints from the 1940’s-50s, was created by the Triton Press and published by Norever publishing company. The prints depict 18th-century geisha in the Ukiyo-e style, a traditional Japanese art form. The titles of the prints are “A Beauty with Attendant“ and “A Beauty Adjusting Combs“. These lithograph prints showcase vibrant, multi-color designs on paper, reflecting the artistic heritage of Japan. Printed in the USA, these vintage prints offer a glimpse into the country's cultural history and artistic traditions from the late 18th century. Both have stamps on them. The Triton press Co. operated from the late 1930s-1984. There are some wrinkles on one of the posters where it has been stored, and there are some spots on the back.
