Very rare vintage book telling the life and motorcycle racing history of the acclaimed American racer. With many photographs. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with moderate to heavy wear, especially around the edges. Some tears and chipping around the edges and with much tape applied. Tanning to jacket and with some staining and waviness due to liquid exposure. Chipping and tears for fore edge of jacket, including some small missing bits. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Cocked spine and with a few instances where binding is visible in gutter, though all pages are attached and binding remains fairly firm on the whole.
