Offered is a collectible HausenWare teapot designed by Sally Noll. I was unable to find this pattern online, so it might be rare. The pattern features whimsical red hats with black and lavender cursive-like accents and a lid that features a lavender checkerboard pattern. The base is trimmed in red. I thought this might be one of the many Red Hat Society licensed products, but there is no licensing stamp. It looks and feels to me to be porcelain and not stoneware as it does not have the weight of stoneware. It is in gorgeous vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, or stains. There is ever so slight bottom wear. Because I found no other examples of this teapot, I am unable to tell for sure whether it is hand painted, but it looks that way to me. I could not date this piece, but it appears to me to be from the 90s into the early 00s.
Height is about 5.75.” Width is 9” handle to spout.
