1904 Seth Thomas adamantine mantel clock

This is a beautiful Seth Thomas St adamantine antique mantel clock. The date on the bottom indicates it was made in December of 1904. This clock was found at an estate in St Louis which means the purchasers likely bought this clock immediately after attending the World's Fair in 1904. The clock runs and was tested overnight. There are two ways to adjust the speed of the clock to make fine adjustments. There are two nuts you can raise and lower on the weight in the back and you can also turn a screw. It makes a pleasantly quiet Tick Tok sound and ring the bell at the half hour. The Chimes for the hour also work well. As shown in the photos some of the numbering in the front is worn off oh, probably from it being set. The glass is in good condition and the whole unit has a patina from age. It has not been cleaned. Label number 295. The key required is a standard mantel clock key with a square drive. The key from my other mantle clock worked fine to wind this one and wind Chimes spring.
