Chinese Snuff Bottle is complete without any chips, injuries or losses and is complete with gemstone cap and spoon that appears to be ivory inside. The overall appearance displays stunning workmanship ~~and a true work of art.The snuff bottle is painted inside on both sides. Chinese snuff bottles are a relatively recent development. Tobacco reached China toward the end of the 16th Century AD, and it seems likely that snuff was available by the mid-seventeenth century.
