The Gourmet collection combines all the knives you'll need plus honing steel and sheers stored neatly in a custom bamboo wood knife block, with extra spaces for steak knives. Strong, long-lasting blades are precision-tapered from bolster to tip to maintain their shape and hold their edge. Blades are laser-cut from a single piece of steel and easy to sharpen. Full tang adds weight and balance to blades longer than 5 inches. Knives feature high-impact, molded synthetic handles that are comfortable to hold, more durable and sanitary than wood. The 15-slot acacia knife block holds 2 ½ paring, 2 ¾ trimming, 2 ¼ peeling, 3 spear point paring, 4 ½ utility, 5 spreader, 5 hollow edge santoku, 8 bread, 8 chef's, and four 4 ½ steak knives, as well as 9 honing steel and come-apart kitchen shears.
