Vintage hardcover book (no dust jacket). Book has gutter damage throughout - chips to spine, smudge stains to inner pages. Stain to front and back boards. Stamped numbers on illustrated free end paper.
This book was reprinted sometime after 1917 when F. Warne became a limited company “Ltd.” This book has blank unnumbered pages - most blank page has a colored illustration on the other side - my understanding is that it was due to the publishing company printing process. Please do your own research.
