Thick luxurious soft leather, one touch and I was sold. Not needed now and passing it on. Will last many years to come, with quality construction. Large sections and pockets, including one zip pocket on the back and two handy pockets in front. Cross body strap is not removable and has a drop of about 22”.
There are some areas of minor wear, a little inconsistency of color here and there and what I believe is brass hardware needs polishing up. Three obvious flaws to bring your attention to: the upper half of the magnetic snap is missing, this can be easily replaced no sewing needed. There is a pen mark I never tried to get out and a dark area at the seam on the sliding shoulder padding part of the strap. There are also tiny dents, lines and other natural character marks here and there.
