Vintage gold earrings in the style Buttercup mounting
These were a gift back in the 90’s and had belonged to the persons grandmother. Estimated 1950’s. I do not know what the stone is maybe white topaz. Could be CZ but I don’t believe they were on the market until the 70’s. Original stones could have been replaced. Definitely not diamond although they sure sparkle and shine. At almost 8mm they are roughly the equivalent to a 2ct stone if CZ. Large and impressive either way. Secure screw backs. Gold is 14k and has been tested with a jewelers x-ray machine.
